WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

This workshop is organized around sessions that address the following questions:

  • Can the legitimacy of contemporary forums of global governance be enhanced?
  • How should international financial regulation be reformed?
  • What are the key drivers of institutional change in global economic governance in the aftermath of the financial crisis?
  • How should responsibility for global economic governance be divided between international organizations and states?
  • What are the medium- and long-term implications of the financial crisis for the shifting balance of power in the world economy?
